1. Evaluate your home from top to bottom and do a sweep through

Figure out the things that you don't need and can get rid of. Taking a day to do a sweep through will allow you to better organize your home when you start cleaning.

2. One room at a time  
Depending on how many rooms you have in your home, will depend on how many days you will need to clean them. Take a day for each room and work on cleaning it from top to bottom. This includes organizing and throwing away anything that you missed during your sweep through.

3. Change up the Decor  
Cleaning can be a bore for someone who doesn't enjoy doing it on a regular basis. Take the time to buy little items from your local dollar store, to give you a different feel after you finished work in a room. Your home will already feel 10 times better once you have gotten rid of all the surrounding clutter, so jazz it up with new items to make the cleaning experience much more fun.

4. Analyze, take in and learn to clean as you use
