Jacksonville Business Journal's Fastest Growing Companies in 2013

With only $300 in the bank, Josh Kennedy borrowed a ladder from his Dad and started his business almost five years ago washing windows in Jacksonville's Urban Core.  Now First Coast Home Pros has been listed as one of Jacksonville’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2013 by the Jacksonville Business Journal. His company has grown to 25 employees, 11 vehicles and over 6,000 customers. “We grew 300 percent in our second year and every year since we’ve grown right about 100 percent,” says Kennedy.

Keeping the house clean at all times can be a daunting task; with so many rooms to clean and so many different items to dust off. However, as tough as the task might look, you can put into practice small yet effective house-cleaning habits that will make that periodic complete makeover a lot easier. Many of the modern-day household cleaning products in the market today are toxic compounds that not only harm the environment, but also bring about all manner of health problems by aggravating diseases such as allergies, bronchitis, sinusitis, asthma and many more. The US National Center for Health Statistics estimates that 1/3 of the American population suffers from the health conditions mentioned above; it’s therefore absolutely imperative that we find healthier alternatives for our home-cleaning compounds.
